The Syracuse Retired Firefighters Association, which represents over 460 Syracuse retired firefighters, is affiliated with the following associations. By belonging to these organizations, the Syracuse Retired Firefighters Association becomes part of the network of retirees from the State of New York, increasing our ability to contact legislators throughout the state.
- United Police & Fire Retirees of New York, Inc. which represents over 3,000 police and fire retirees located throughout New York State from Troy to Buffalo. This organization handles all legislation referring to police and fire retirees.
- The Alliance of Public Retiree Organizations of New York which represents 500,000 public retirees including New York State local and retirement systems (ERS and the PFRS), New York State Teachers Retirement System, and the New York City Retirement Systems.
